One of a numbered series of 888 pieces for the world market. It is made from Pineider's proprietary brown-honey-cream-black coloured resin. Piston filler with ink window on the barrel, and piston operable by blind cap/knob at the bottom of the pen's barrel. Mint in beautiful leatherette Pineider box, with papers, ID card and a complementary portable pen filler. Length closed is 14.4cm, length open is 13.2cm, width at widest point on cap (excluding the clip) is 1.5cm, and weight empty is around 40g. The last two photos are for illustrative purposes and show the range of nibs available for this pen.

Unfortunately factory settings are not optimal for some fountain pens that are new "out of the box", and occasionally tuning is required. It may need some tuning. Then I will wash the nib unit and dry it. In this way I can be sure the pen will write correctly........
