Technical and futuristic design was always the goal at Oakley. In 2002 they released the Oakley Chop Saw, a weird shoe at the time but the core fans loved it. Lightly worn, there is a little dirt and a few tiny marks on the nubuck uppers, and the toe-point of each sole shows a little wear from friction. The leather is creased as one would expect for a lightly worn pair of shoes. The soles are otherwise very clean but need some simple maintenance; there are a couple of tiny cracks visible when arching the shoes, these can be filled in at home with a bonding adhesive product such as "Shoe Goo". Laces are original with Oakley logo on ends. Cushioned insole with arch support. Mesh tongue is also cushioned. Upper has mesh panels for breathability, same mesh on ankle as an accent. Heel and back of ankle is a tough flexible synthetic offering great protection. Eyelets are a semi-rigid plastic. The moulded tread offers extremely good traction, especially on uneven surfaces i.
