For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Never Inked 1997 Parker Sterling Silver Snake Limited Edition Fountain Pen in the box. This pen comes with the original inner and out boxes with Parker Limited Edition documentation and literature.

The Fountain Pen has never been used and considered in New Old Stock, Mint Condition. This Parker Snake Limited Edition Fountain Pen was presented by Parker in 1997. Its exquisite design is based on the original 1906 Parker Snake pen.

It is crafted from solid sterling silver in a snake design with genuine emerald eyes. The fountain pen comes nestled in a large suede-lined, black leather gift box. The snake embossed top is complemented by its unique snake-shaped clasp. There is a drawer that houses the Parker Snake literature.

This is Limited Edition number 978 of 5000 produced. The cap and barrel of the fountain pen is in perfect condition with no cracks, nicks, or repairs.

The cap is a slip type and is always securing tightly to the barrel. The fountain pen's cap banding is marked with, PARKER MADE IN U. The middle on the barrel shows the Parker and Limited Edition Number 978.

The lower portion of the barrel, on the sterling, shows more hallmarks. The fountain pen measures 5 1/4" capped and 6 7/8" posted.

This Parker fountain pen uses an ink converter filling system. I have tested with water and works as it was designed to. The 18-karat nib is engraved with a Snake design and is marked. This nib measures at MEDIUM/BROAD measuring at.

88mm when using digital calipers. The pen has never been inked and is in New Old Stock condition and wanted to keep it this way for the next owner. Accompanying this fountain pen is the original box with Parker Limited Edition and Literature about the pen. This Parker Limitedl Edition Fountain Pen is a "show stopper" design and based off the 1906 Parker Snake that is ever so rare and diserable.

This Parker Snake has some weight to it and feels fantastic in the hand. I would consider this Parker Limited Edition Snake Fountain Pen to be in Mint Condition, Never Inked, and New Old Stock.
