This Show was the 2nd' Middle' Night at the Omni, on a 3-Show Atlanta, Georgia G. I was lucky enough to catch the Spring Tour'90 Cap Centre run that Kicked-Off! This here Omni Show - is living proof! That on the back end of this Spring'90 Tour...

The Good Ol''90's! Grateful Dead had lost no-steam... Wow, and I mean none! This Show is chocked-full of Explosive!

Live-Energy, and is one of those nights where it seems the set list rotation is simply Magical! You know, when you walk through those glass doors of the old Omni kind of thinking what you'd like to hear... And then -- when you walk out at night's end...

And, it almost seems like you got it all!! The Band is so' On', throughout this 4/2/90 Show - and, if I was the one' picking' just-one from this 3-Show Atlanta stand?

This is the one that I too would select... And, what's really funny about it is -- that the set list doesn't even really show-it all that much? The 4/1/90 & 4/3/90 Shows look to lack no! But, as I've listened to these all over the years - time, and time, an times!

A Show that I frequently grab for. The Boys are' In' the Groove! Kicks this Show off, in prime-form. And then, the 1/2 Step Mississippi segues right into >>> The Weight!

Queen Jane follows, and then Brent Handles! Easy To Love You, like it's nobody's business... Deliveries of the' 90's' Return'!

Jerry is all-over the frets on B. Women, and then after that - you can see exactly-why...

Because it was indeed Let It Grow! That closes up Set I, and then Foolish > L. With some serious Bobby head-kicks all over the place & space! He's Gone follows, with a nice vocal-rap going down at the end... And then - they play it into Last Time!!!

Then, out of a Spacey-Spacey! Out to play - and, Phil really gets after-it!! Possibly the' show-stealer' - as Death Don't Have No Mercy comes climbing out! As the Other One rests. And, let me tell you - this one even gives that 9/29/89 Shoreline!

Yes, it's awfully-tough to get there in that! The collective attempt resonate here with this one - Killer!

Then, it's all brought home Rock & Roll! Style - with Around & Around... Black Muddy for the Encore, and then - one more Show to go!

On the Tour known simply & deserving as " Spring'90 "!!! This Show is a flat-out Heater!

- and so-well played & delivered in total Dead Sync! Meant serious business all through this 4/2/90 Show, and - here indeed is That! Proof in this exceptional pro-released format! Which, only took like 22-ish years! But, my goodness - is it ever worth the wait! It is no secret at-all why this Spring 1990 Tour was selected for its amazing pro-release, and this 4/2/90 Show is definitely one of the treasure pieces to prove this fact.

Spring Tour'90 performance to say the very-least, and thankfully for us all... This 3-CD Set is clearly one of the Ultimate! Representations of how well the Band was playing, and sounding... & Live Rock & Roll Magic!!
