Cartier Exceptional Santos de Cartier Limited Edition Fountain Pen. In tribute to his friend the aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, in 1904 Cartier created one of the first wristwatches named Santos-Dumont. Throughout the years, its elegance, the audacity of its screws, and the modernity of its fine details have given rise to an authentic Maison Collection. A style re-interpreted by Cartier with this exceptional pen which stages the highly symbolic universe of the aviator; solid gold screws which are riveted one by one to the streamlined keelson, clip in the shape of the propeller and the ogived dome shape cap, both plated with a fine layer of gold.

The body is entirely made of sterling 925 silver with a two-tone 18k gold nib engraved with a propeller, Medium in size. This exceptional pen is a limited edition of 1904 individually numbered pieces ours is #0422/1904 The writing instrument and its contents are in pristine condition. It comes complete with all original packaging and has been vault kept.
